William Paterson University is Will Power. Located on 370 acres in suburban Wayne, New Jersey, the University serves more than 11,500 students through five colleges: Arts and Communication, Cotsakos College of Business, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science and Health. The University maintains an extensive curriculum with over 250 undergraduate and graduate academic programs that provide opportunities to help students succeed in our classrooms, laboratories and studios. The University is proud to provide multiple services for the United States Armed Forces members that include active duty, reservists/national guard members, veterans and their dependents.

William Paterson University averages over 200 enrolled veteran, military and veteran dependent students who wish to achieve their educational goals. In order to ensure student success, the University maintains an Office of Veteran and Military Affairs along with supporting and advising a well-established Student Veterans Organization and specially trained points of contact within University departments. The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs provides a centralized location for various services that include community outreach, Department of Veteran Affairs educational assistance, transitioning skills, and general campus inquiries. In conjunction with the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs, William Paterson University's Student Veterans Organization, founded in accordance with the Student Government Association, is a student led and organized effort by fellow military and veteran students to offer peer leadership, guidance, and educational opportunities throughout a student's career.
